Choosing a Screen Name for Internet Dating

Your screen name (sometimes called "profile name") is one of the first things you're going to have to consider when you sign-up at an internet dating site. You should try to choose something that is concise, descriptive, and attention grabbing, and spend some time thinking about it, rather picking the first idea that crosses your mind.
When choosing a screen name, you should consider ideas based on your personality, your occupation, or perhaps a physical trait:-
- Some occupations will work better than others. For example, "FireFighterGuyinSeattle" is very a good screen name. A lot of women are drawn to guys who are firefighters. For example, if you picked "IrishBlueEyedGuyinSeattle" as your screen name, you would build interest from girls who may be Irish or who like Irish guys. You'd also attract girls who like guys with blue eyes and they know you're in Seattle. Don't be afraid to look at some other member's screen names to find something that you like and inspire your own.
A lot of people don't think the screen name is important. It really is. Your screen name, your tagline, and a thumbnail picture are all going to combine to give other members their first impression of you. Once the first impression is made, you can't go back in time and change it. You want to do your very best to make as much of an impact on your first impression as you can.
